Dog Groomers Association of Singapore (DGA) was founded in the year 2009. Since its inception, DGA has grown significantly. Founded by a group of dedicated experienced Groomers and Grooming Instructors, its core objectives are to help improve the standards of Dog Grooming in Singapore by promoting and encouraging professionalism, good ethics and education amongst Dog Groomers. This will elevate the benchmark of the Dog Grooming standards in Singapore and foster the growth of the Dog Grooming industry.
DGA is proud to be Singapore's first and only association for Dog Groomers.
DGA's success in gaining a firm foothold as an esteemed association in the industry within a relatively short time span, is greatly attributed to its willingness to consider the needs and opinions of not only its members, but the general public. We genuinely regard not only the groomers, but also the dogs and their owners.
Our goal is to unite groomers through membership, to promote the interests of its members and to set recognized grooming standards. DGA strives to provide those seeking a higher level of professional recognition, the opportunity to upgrade their grooming skills and receive certification through workshops, seminars and certification testing. Ultimately, we expect to provide an ease of mind to Dog Owners who will patronize DGA Groomers.
